Savage Dog
This story will talks about a lot of action events in Indochina, 1959. There was a Wild West town controlled by the criminal class: Vietnamese warlords and European war criminals. The events begin when Den-Dhin-Chan Labor Camp is run by four such dangerous men. The worst prison in the land, it is here that a European, former-champion boxer Martin Tilman has made a name for himself fighting tournaments, on which wealthy criminals gamble in high stakes events. When Tilman is due for release, he just wants to return home, but the corrupt forces running the jail will do everything in their power to keep him locked down

Takes filmmaking incompetence to a whole new level.

There's not enough story here but every time David pops up on the soundtrack to spout dime-novel clichés ... this movie takes on the quality of classic storybook, not straight-to-video schlock.

It's another bruiser from Adkins, who does what he can with a movie that's not particularly attentive to detail or drama.

A gory, totally fun throwback action spectacle.

"Savage Dog" is a good deal less than watertight in terms of logic and credibility, but Adkins' blunt-force physicality is sufficiently impressive ...
