The Prodigy

Description
Maybe everything may seem wrong for that woman named Sarah, a mother who predicts the behavior of her young and exciting son who seems very much. Sarah believes that there is an evil force, perhaps a supernatural that has surpassed it and crossed all limits to influence it. Sarah seems to be trying to explain everything that happens where she must choose between mother instinct and mileage love and protection and an urgent need to investigate those things. There seems to be something that is causing its dark and strange turn.

McCarthy's film dips its toes into some stock scare tactics - the whistling tea kettle, the dark hallway, the creepy basement - while struggling to figure out whether it wants its third act to be a boring or bad-ass sort of bonkers-bananas.

The Prodigy is a forgettable, tedious horror film that few will remember come this summer.
