It is a new historical series with many dramatic and romantic events, where we live a wide range of powerful and different events. The season opens, after his true identification to save an innocent man, Jean Valjean is running away from Javert's law. Along the way he saves the daughter of Cosine Fantine from a life of unhappiness with the family that was supposed to take care of her, Thé Rats.

While I don't really know exactly how grumpy you might be after spending 19 years on a static prison ship for stealing a loaf of bread, West's redemption has been nicely primed without anybody needing to make a song and dance about it.
